pic 1 - back from work... first test of the "book-page" with mounted Hardware

The commandment-mod is only a biiiiig book - but it took long time to

test how the best solution for a non-looking-case mechanical should look like.

I decided to use wooden "u"´s to create a imagination of a bookpage

pic 2 - the material that I used to draw the cover is purple veltet - bad picture here....

pic 3 - the book is closed.... believe me, its purple... (next pics are better)

pic 4 - the pages... not accurate right now, only a test if everything would work with the mechanic...

pic 5 - a view from the top.... you can see the pioneer DVD slimline writer ....

pic 6 - want to read a page... ? the book is opening (look, its purple ;o))

pic 7 - yes, its working. And yes, it looks very easy since its done - but it wasn´t easy to create a real stable

system that is also able to create the imagination of a "fine" bookpage...

pic 8 - very easy to get a view in the "case"....

pic 9 - Oh, did I mention that I used red cold light cathodes ? ;o)

pic 10 - that´s the correct view...

pic 11 - and here another view inside.... everything watercooled !

pic 12 - for today.... we read enough... some features will follow - be sure that this wasnt all...

pic 13 - press stickers on purple velvet... the backside of the book from www.aufkleber-land.de

Thanks for the great work to Jan Holznagel !

pic 14 - the backside of 11th in progress...

pic 15 - 3rd try: the first and second solutions were not stable enough...

pic 16 - and the 1mm thick wooden airplane-plate

pic 17 - some glue and thats how I thought it should be...

pic 18 - seems to be stable and flexible in the same way - thats what I needed!

pic 19 - first test mounted

pic 20 - screws needed ? - yep.

pic 21 - now fixed....

pic 22 - looks fine and works fine - the backside is ready.

pic 23 - silver cross and the stickers for front and back...

pic 24 - silver cross - met the pope 1981 in Munich (no Joke)

pic 25 - nearly perfect
